| General Overview | Adam is very strong in his convictions as an individual and learns as he goes. He does what he can to finish a task and tries to open up his feelings now and then. But in the long run can be usually closed off due to his situation he finds himself in time. Morgan is confident and a little cocky because of that sometimes. He can be cold shouldered to new people and outsiders but that rears off when he gets to know that person or persons in time. | Personal History | Adam Morgan was born on Earth in Canada on August 18, 2343, son of Jeremie and Alicia Morgan. Adams childhood had been not bad as the time of the years have been great stride for the Federation having the new Enterprise-D commissioned in 2364. During those teenage years, Adam had made many friends who talked him into joining the Federation down the road. At the age of 15, Adam made a trip to the Canadian Rockies with some friends to enjoy a camping trip together. During the time weekend away, Adam and his friends had come across a thunderstorm that made the trip bearable to say the least. They had been attacked by the ravaging winds during a hike before the rain began and Adam was instrumental in saving his friends lives before they fell off a very high edge of a mountain side. They survived the encounter and Adam made it that day to join Starfleet as he thought it was his destiny to save peoples lives and to live the adventure. Adam made the entrance into Starfleet Academy at the age of 16 and made advancing degrees in survival skills and helm control and navigation. With all the different courses to choose from, Morgan made the choice to also excel in the Operations department as he had a keen interest on that subject, but kept with the flight and navigation skills. In 2363, Morgan was selected as part of the crew to join the USS Olympia to explore deep out in the Beta Quadrant. During the time of the 8 years out in the darkness with the Olympia and her crew, Morgan had made Ensign to Lieutenant as the Helm control officer on board. The Olympia was finishing her mission out in the deep space heading back to Federation space when the ship had encountered the planet with a barrier in 2371. The ship was crippled and Morgan along with two other officers were assigned to beam down to assess the planet so the crew could evacuate before the ship crashed and the transporter worked but with a complication. The year became 2391 and Morgan and the two officers found themselves on a makeshift Federation base on the planet. Morgan and the officers find that they were not only transported to the same planet but a different time, into the future. Morgan and the two others are debriefed at that time and sent back to Earth. Morgan finds out the information on the Olympia and how the escape pods were launched from the ship. He had also gone over the reports conducted by the Defiant’s crew and that the barrier was responsible for the time travel for him and the other officers involved. Even though the field was only a couple years for the transmission from his former captain, the transporter made the effect worse. Starfleet decided for the officers and Morgan to get a catchup on current events and to do a retraining in the Academy for an extra couple years for that to happen. Once the final year was over, Morgan was transferred to Starbase 308 to serve as what he was on the Olympia, Flight Control Officer at the rank of Ensign |
