Average height but with piercing blue eyes and a natural beauty that radiates from within as well as out. She always keeps her light blond hair in a simple bob cut and keeps makeup to a minimum, usually only putting on a pale pink lipstick and maybe a light application around her eyes. She has a mole above her lip on the left hand side and birthmark on her left foot which is nothing more than a pink dot about the size of her thumb. |

| Personal History | Born in 2362 in the Yorkshire countryside to two doting and loving parents Benjamin and Colleen Higgins. Cassandra was an inquisitive child with a keen intellect and quick smile. Her parents encouraged the thirst for knowledge and nurtured her caring nature which seemed to start at a very young age. She has always had a complicated relationship with her brother as he was ten years her senior when she was born and the two have polarised personalities. Her childhood was like many others, skinned knee's, building friendships and learning. She did develop a very close bond with her cousin, Vincent Sinclair and he became the brother she had not had from her blood relative and they became inseparable. At an early age her parents work took them from the Yorkshire Dales in England over to Italy and the ancient city of Venice. She lived here through her teens along with her Cousin and their Family through her later childhood and teens until eventually she decided on her career path. Unlike anyone else from her family she decided she wanted to join Starfleet and follow a caring profession within its ranks. Counselling became her prefered path which she followed avidly but she also minored in the field of general Nursing. With this path chosen she left her family and her Cousin behind to start a new chapter in her life. Starfleet Academy was even better than she had thought it would be. She was always sitting in the middle of her class in regards to scores and grades but she was no slouch. She studied hard, applied herself often at the detriment to her personal relationships, having had several boyfriends during the four years at the academy but no of them lasted long due to her dedication to her chosen career. In 2384 she graduated the academy and was giving the rank of Ensign and her first assignment aboard the USS Trident, a Miranda Class survey vessel. She spent much of her time on this assignment working with the Ships Counsellor and honing her skills. This assignment lasted two years and was uneventful and unremarkable. Her next assignment was very much the same but on the USS Agrippa she started to build a reputation as being a hard worker and dedicated to the field. She also found she had a passion for deep space assignments. Exploring and discovering while still being able to help and support people. Within one year on this assignment she was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and was put through her bridge officer examination. The Agrippa being a smaller ship needed all of its Officers trained for bridge duty. The years later she was transferred to the USS Nighthawk as Ships Counsellor under the Command of Captain Elijah Rutherford. This was her first big chance and she excelled in the role and learnt a great deal not only in her chosen profession but in how to be a Command Level Officer. Three years later Starfleet Medical saw fit to transfer her to Cold Station 7 to as Psychiatric Consulting Therapist to assist with the long term treatment developments for certain illnesses and viruses. The facility was also home to many deadly strains of virus from across the Federation and beyond. After four years working in this environment Cassy found she was getting itchy feet and she missed not being out in space so she started searching for open positions on Deep Space Assignments. Sadly no Counsellor positions were open so she instead found a Nursing position on the USS Andromeda and fell back onto her minor degrees from the Academy and in 2397, shortly after the incident with the planet killer she transferred to the USS Andromeda. |
