ON:

Amelia reluctantly entered the brig. For a while, she just stood near the forcefield observing her mirror counterpart who was lying on the bed with her back toward her. After a long moment, there came her voice from inside the cell.

"Well, Hello me. You've finally come to see yourself."

"You are nothing like me," Amelia answered, trying to keep the edge out of her voice.

Fox rolled over and stood, walking closer to the forcefield opposite Amelia. "I'm exactly like you, It's like looking in a mirror.

Amelia snorted "You may look like me but that's where the similarities end."

Fox smirked, "If you say so."

Still carrying a PADD, Amelia nodded to the guard who lowered the forcefield and she picked up a chair and stepped through, much the same way the Captain did. She entered the cell and the forcefield reappeared as she sat down and tossed the PADD over to Fox who was forced to catch it. "In case you feel like telling me the full story." Amelia didn't tell her the PADD was also recording audio as well.

"So what do you want to talk about? Fox asked as she moved to a sitting position on the bed. "How is Aidan by the way?"

"We're not here to talk bout Lieutenant Datari." Amelia corrected her.

"Well, He and I are very close."

"You're not close to him, you stole his DNA." Off her surprised look. "Oh yes. Syvar told me everything you did to him as well."

Fox raised an eyebrow. "Oh! so It's Syvar is it? Very familiar with the good doctor, are we? Yes, another one of my special friends."

Amelia's eyes flashed with anger "He's not your anything! And come close to him again and You'll regret it! I Swear!"

Fox's smiled widened "You have feelings for him, don't you? How does it feel? To know that I broke him in for you?"

Amelia had to resist the urge to leap off the seat and grab her counterpart by the throat and smash her into the wall. With a quiet, contained fury she responded as calmly as she could "You could never break should a wonderful man and I bet your upset because you let him slip through your fingers while you were trying to tighten your grip on him and anything you can get your hands on. The fact of the matter is he's with me because he loves me and I love him and you... you are alone and presently I'm the only one reaching out to you in any way. Everybody else, even the 'father' of your child wants nothing to do with you. Bear that in mind."

Fox looked at her with cold eyes but said nothing. Amelia thought she might have made her point but didn't know for sure.

Amelia pressed her advantage. "Now then I'm going to ask the questions and I want direct answers. Understood. Now, how did the Cetea find this place?"

"I showed them where it was?"

"How did you know where it was?"

"I stumbled across it, quite by accident."

"Hhhhmmmmm. Do the Cetea have a Planet Killer?"

"Yes, I sold them one."

Amelia's mouth fell open for a moment. "You sold them one?" she asked incredulously. "For how much?"

"One million bars of gold-pressed latinum."

Another hundred questions flooded Ameli's mind. Where did the Cetea get a million bars of gold-pressed latinum.

Fox continued "I also threw in some more conventional weapons and ships."

Amelia studied her for a moment. "You have enough Latinum to retire to Risa and live like a Queen for the rest of your life so what are you doing?"

"When the Cetea have activated the Planet Killer, they will transmit how they did to me. I told them I needed to check they did it right..."

Amelia finished her sentence "But in reality, you really don't know how to get one started either and you're having them do all the work. Why do you want to know?"

"To fight the Alliance."

Amelia didn't completely believe her at that point, but let it pass for now. "Where is the Cetea base?"

"I Don't know. They arranged to do all their trade at a location they specified." she wrote some information into the PADD. "There."

Amelia looked at the PADD. " What do the Cetea want?"

Fox scoffed. "They are deranged fools fighting for revenge, and it's going to kill them all."

Amelia looked at her. "I believe that's the first completely honest thing you've said to me.

"How very perceptive of you." Fox agreed with a wry smile, very similar to Amelia's.

Mirror Fox tossed the PADD back to Amelia. "There. I think I've given you enough for now. Have to keep some secrets for now."

Amelia rose then paused. "You really think you're the right person to bring up a child? Don't you think it would be better if you left the child...."

Mirror Fox rose and got right in Amelia's face. Outside the guard's hand had moved to rest on his phaser. Amelia caught the movement out of the corner of her eye and held her hand out to stop him. She stood her ground as her mirror counterpart spoke low and deadly "This is my child! The only way you're getting your hands on it is over my dead body! Now get out, before I forget that I like you."

Amelia's face betrayed nothing but part of her wasn't surprised. I suppose I would have responded in the same way about my child. Her child... she though. She only nodded. Then mirror Fox turned and layback down on her bed.

Amelia turned back to the guard "I think we're done here, lower the forcefield."
