ON:

Ron opened his eyes and just stared. He was laid next to an angel. And .... naked .... memories started flooding back.

He and Natasha .... they had. Oh they really had. And hell he had enjoyed it.

But what was she going to think? What did he do now?

He felt her move, and a strand of her soft black hair draped over his shoulder. His eyes widened and he stared at the ceiling trying to think what did he do?

Natasha's eyes fluttered open, and she registered that there was something different. She felt warmth nearby against her side, she brushed her hair away from her eyes to see where it came from. Her eyes widened when Natasha realized where she was at, and whom she was lying next to. It was Ron. She... he... they... she smiled and she was feeling wonderful!

Natasha turned to where she was snuggled up against Ron, her hand reaching out to caress his chest then it wandering upward to his cheek. "Good morning love." placing a kiss upon his shoulder.

Ron's face was a mix of being in heaven and being terrified at the same time. "I ... erm I don't know how to do ..... this part its never been here before. Do I get us coffee? Breakfast? Did I rush it? Are we together properly now?"

Natasha reached out and placed a calming hand upon his shoulder. "Ron, just breathe. You don't have to get me coffee or breakfast if you do not wish to do so. Its not a mandatory thing after, being intimate. Its something I don't expect either." Natasha thought back to when she was last with someone, which was a few years back, and that ended badly. She had such rotten luck back then, maybe this is the breaking of that bad luck?

Natasha then addressed Ron's other questions, "I don't think you, or I rushed it. To me, it happened in a natural way. And as for us being together properly, I would love to be with you for the rest of my life. It though, depends on how you are feeling." her voice soothing, as she looked into his adorable face.

"I think ... you are wonderful .... the best person who ever walked into my life .... Im just worried I will blow things. I'm so inexperienced," Ron said.

"Ron the best thing to do is take this one day at a time." giving a loving smile. "Don't worry about blowing this. And I do understand your feelings. I am worried I may ruin this too. I have to think and have hope and I feel, we have a great chance at building a wonderful life together." Natasha replied.

Ron nodded. “Then I think …. Coffee? Breakfast?”

"That sounds wonderful, I can help out if you'd like." Natasha moving to get out of bed. "And I'd like to hear about any science experiments you've been doing. Or observations on other matters." the dark haired woman radiantly smiling at Ron.

“Well,” Ron said pulling his underwear on. “I’m still trying to make sense of what I managed to get off the planet killer. I’m theorising it’s an alien computer language. That I managed to get into some control panels for its mission mandate so to speak but … we’ll that’s yet to pan out.

After speaking with Captain Reynolds and him Starfleet central they decided it was safer to lock it down to only a select few working on it. Here it’s me and chief Datari. There’s a couple of researchers back on Earth also collaborating. I find them both difficult to correspond with.”

"How are they reacting to you?" Natasha responded as she began to get dressed, "Or are they just turning up their noses at the data you managed to get? If they are they do not know what they are missing. I don't think they realize how brave you were going up to the bridge and getting that data. Which I still feel that was a fantastic thing you did." Sliding her dress back on.

Ron smiled lopsidedly as if he didn't quite believe that. "The social interaction is difficult. I feel they think I'm a nerd of sorts and well they are certainly not the types I would seek out a friendship with. Neither have managed to make any more sense of things than I have."

Natasha wrapped her arms about Ron, giving him a kiss, then went to begin working on breakfast. "I have faith that you will be able to find the answers. You are fantastic, and a hidden gem. Who knows could the language have some binary code, like the Binars which over took the Enterprise that one time? I wonder just where that planet killer had come from?"

"They are very old. Whoever did built them may no longer be around. I do hope we crack something and hopefully there's some information. I mean that would be such a find," he said. He suddenly realised how much he wanted to make Natasha proud of him.

"Maybe someone out here has something to help break that code, a code key. Could there be some records we can look through? May have to send out a message to various ships and stations seeing if anyone has stumbled upon ancient texts or books. That might hold the key." Natasha mused. She went quiet as she helped to set the table in readiness for breakfast.

“You are brilliant,” Ron said following her. He suddenly stopped and looked at the table pensively. “I don’t think anyone bar my mum ever made me breakfast. This is really … lovely. Thank you Natasha.”

"You are welcome, and it is my pleasure. It is great being able to do this for someone special to me. Most times I eat alone." she looked at Ron. "Unless I was meeting someone somewhere else. " she finished placing the food on the table. And then smiled. "You are someone special to me, and I can see myself sitting across the table eating breakfast with you, and other meals as well." taking a seat at the table.

"I'd like that ... I'd like that very much," Ron said. "What have you got on today?" She was talking a lot about what he had on. He wondered what they got up to in diplomacy.

"There is news of a diplomatic group being set up to approach some space trade barons of some sort, they are called the Five, they are or becoming the big people here. Not much is known though about them." Natasha replied, "There is a station near the Briar Patch that I have heard they were negotiating trade with the Ba'ku planet in that sector. Its a place I would love to go visit, hadn't been able to as of yet." Natasha remarked placing upon the table, the food and drink which was ready, and then she sat down.

"If you spend some time on Ba'ku you will be younger," Ron said. "I bet that's quite something to experience. Also they don't really do technology do they?"

"No they don't, they prefer the natural method of tilling the soils using simple tools much like Earth had done in days gone by. Even on Earth there are those who prefer to use that method as well. Good hard labor and enjoy the fruits of their labors." Natasha giving a smile.

“It sounds very therapeutic,” Ron commented. He wondered if it might help him. Perhaps start with a houseplant.

Natasha nodded, "Yes it does. My parents have their own cottage garden where they like to grow herbs and have fresh vegetables. And they have several fruit trees in their yard as well. They even have pine trees, and berry bushes. They live in Washington State on Coupeville, which is on Whidbey Island. It is one of the oldest towns in the state. A lot of history there." a fond smile appears as she spoke about her parents.

"It sounds nice. My parents are from Whitby. It was nice growing up by the sea," he said with a smile. "I think mother would have liked to have met you Natasha, if she was still here."

"I am sorry for your loss Ron, I truly am. I wish I could have met her. Is your father alive? Also I think my parents would like to meet you too." Natasha smiling shyly. "My dad, he is a botanist plus loves gardening. My mother she likes to be creative, and enjoys living the simple life."

"My father is and he is an interesting kettle of fish," Ron said.

Natasha nodded, "Do you think he'd want to meet me?" tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear, before she took a bite of her food. "I do hope he will like me."

"He would be a fool not too," Ron said turning beet red. How did she do this to him. I mean they had spent the night together and he still felt a fool.

"Ron when we get the chance I would love to meet him." Natasha looked at the time, "Oh my um am I going to make you late for work? Or are you off now?" this is something she didn't want to do was to keep him from his duties.

"Duties. Yes work. I better get to work," Ron nodded. "Thank you for breakfast ... for last night ..."

He got up and started putting things back in the replicator. Then walked forward and kissed her. "I would love to meet your dad."

Natasha pulled Ron in for another heartfelt kiss. "Thank you for last night and breakfast as well. See you tonight? That is if you want to." a gentle smile looking into her loved one's eyes. "I do love you, very much so."

"I would love to," Rons eyes sparkling happily.
