Timeline: R&R Day 1 Evening

ON:

Liam arrived after helping get up and running further Science labs today. He ached and kissed his wife before heading for the shower real quick.

Throwing on a shirt and jeans he returned hair wet and wild giving her a real kiss this time ....

"Jon and Harper are joining us tonight love," he said excitably parting for air. He had woken up that morning sensing his twin and immediately got on to the stations network to see that the Andromeda had come in for R&R issuing an invite.

Once again Liam's kiss took her breath away, almost causing Kaylee to melt in a puddle on the floor. She had to hold onto Liam for a moment, "Oh my" she breathed out. "That was some kiss. Made me weak in the knees quicker than normal" Kaylee's knees finally working. "Harper, I don't think she and I have met yet." Kaylee reluctantly stepping away from Liam. "Hmnn what do we want to serve for dinner? We have fresh things to cook with."

"I have no idea. But if there's kimden rolls Jon will love that," Liam said. "From what I could gather from my twin their last mission did not go as planned and Harper got injured."

"Well then, I will be certain to make kimden rolls." giving a sunny smile, then the smile drifted away from Kaylee. "Oh dear that is terrible. And it sounds rather serious. I will have to make something very tasty then. How does lasagna sound. A fresh salad, kimden rolls, and chocolate cake for dessert." Kaylee mused. "And something to drink. Do you have a suggestion for that?"

"Sounds perfect and oh yes ......

Red red wine, you make me feel so fine
You keep me rockin' all of the time

I feel a million dollar when you're just in my hand ..." Liam sang at her.

"In fact I have a couple of real bottles that Grandad made ..."

Kaylee listened to Liam singing to her, with an adoring smile and rocking to the song just a slight amount. Her eyes were all filled with love just feeling herself melt. Kaylee loved hearing him sing, and Kaylee was definitely his fan.
She fanned herself, "Love, you just make me melt everytime I hear you sing." moving up close to steal another kiss before she went to prep dinner.

"Your grandad's wine sounds wonderful I would love to have some of that wine." Kaylee answered. "Speaking of wine, what do you think of having our own vineyard here?"

Then Kaylee sang

"Red red wine, weh give me whole heap of zing
Whole heap of zing, make me do my own thing
Red red wine, you really know how I love
Your kind of lovin' like a blessing from above"

Looking over her shoulder towards Liam with a seductive smile.

"Oh I love that idea. New planet, set up chateau Reynolds. Get to sip glasses of home made wine under the moonlight with you," Liam said. "Sounds like perfection. In fact i think your dad will like me even more when we name a bottle in his honour. Might get him over how his sisters reacted."

"I think he will be very happy about that." Kaylee stepping away from the stove to steal another kiss from Liam. "When will Jon and Harper be arriving?" Kaylee walking back to the kitchen, "I am looking forward to meeting the lady who's got his attention."

“He’s here now. On the station. I can sense him,” Liam said. It was weird he knew he likely couldn’t telepathically communicate being planet-side under the station but he sure could feel his twins presence. “Harpers in security and a bit of a spitfire when she wants to be,” Liam laughed. “Jon kind of needs that. Oh I wonder if they are bringing Eddie.”

"Oh that would be great if they are." Kaylee responded, then reluctantly moved away from Liam, she had a bit more to get things ready for dinner. Over her shoulder Kaylee remarked a little bit casually. "Security eh? You two definitely have a thing for us ladies who are in security. Spitfire, I see." she turned and threw a towel at him, giving a sweet innocent look. "You just love us rough and tumble ladies now don't you." giving a wink before turning back around with a giggle.

"Where's the fun otherwise?" Liam said knowing he was likely getting another towel in his face.

Just as Liam thought, a towel was thrown at him, followed by Kaylee who leaped at him taking them both to the floor and Kaylee kissing him passionately. I do enjoy doing this

You know. Jon will know we did this the instant he arrives. But I'm really okay with that. If you are. Liam laughed inwardly, his giggle dancing through Kaylees mind in their link.

Oh I am okay with that. she working his clothing off and hers... he's a grown up, if he doesn't know what is going on between you and I and is shocked well then.. this would mean he's been living under a rock and I know he's not been living under one.


::A little bit later::

"He hasn't been under a rock," Liam said suddenly remembering what Kaylee had said before they had given in to their congenial urges.

"He and the Andromeda were stuck in an alternative reality for a while. One, scarily where .. oh Kaylee I was the Emperor again. Not the hell hole I was stuck in. Another one where I'm apparently evil. Why does this keep happening?"

He found himself hugging her closer still. The memories of that awful place making him wince. The idea that multiple versions of him were capable of being such a horrible person.

Kaylee kissed him gently, she felt Liam's strong concern. I don't think all of you mirror images would be evil, and there could be circumstances that led to your mirror self being like he was. She holding him closely and tightly. What would I have been like in another universe. Would I have been evil? Would I have been just a human or a full betazed? And would I have even been born?

I didn't come across you in the one I ended up in either time. Well actually i was there 3 times but don't remember anything of the first. A dear friend from my posting on Deep Space Five cared for me during the experiments. To this day I still don't know everything they did," Liam said.

Tears filled Kaylee's eyes, as she felt the despair Liam was feeling. I am here now, we found each other, and I am glad that someone helped you, cared for you in your time of need. rubbing her hands along his back, in a comforting manner. I don't want to lose you, I would move a planet if I have to, to find you to get you back.

Liam nodded relaxing into the truth of that statement. Still though he to this day wondered what had happened to their version of Amia after he left. He hoped she was safe.

"And the boy ....." he said suddenly flinging himself forward. Where had that come from?

"The boy?" Kaylee paused then she recalled a memory of Liam having spoken to her, or was it a thought that she had caught from his mind. "You, had a boy in that other universe." she held Liam closely. "Is there a way to find him? Is there a way to see if he is alive?"

"I don't know," Liam said confused. "There was a boy .... They took memories but ... Kaylee there was a boy. I have to ... how do I find out. If me and Amia had a child .... I was there for months. She cared for me. Maybe it ..... oh by the goddesses if he is mine how can I even put that on you? My darling. I didn't ..... I dont remember."

"Liam, you may have a boy, and it maybe from another woman. And if so, we need to find out don't we, right? It is of an utmost importance!" Kaylee getting goosebumps all over her body. "And we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Those memories that were taken from you, we've got to figure out how to get them back, then go from there. And if you do have a boy, who is out there not knowing if he has a dad. Oh my gosh love, you need to find him... WE need to find him."

Kaylee giving Liam a kiss. "Oh love of my soul, I am not going to leave you if you do have a son from another. You and I have gone a long time searching for each other in one form or other so, with out realizing that we were looking for each other. Now we have each other, but there is another who needs you, possibly. A boy needing his father if that small amount of memory is correct." it was in truth a bit surprising, maybe a little bit of a shaking up of their world, however Liam needed to find out, to regain his memories that were taken away. "Besides you have gotten me into investigative mode I will not be able to rest until we find the answers." Kaylee giving a lopsided smile. Her heart rate was up just a tick, she though was firm in her decision as to finding out if Liam's memory was true and if so, that boy needs to have his daddy.

"I know who can find out. Patton. Jack. If I asked him, he would sniff round that Thorrin bloke. I doubt he fully trusts the man any way. If anyone knows Its him. They would have had a plan to use me. They wanted to use me going back remember," Liam said. "The only way I think they could get to me is family. Or you. I'm going to get in touch with Jack."

"Do so, this is extremely important. And Liam, where it comes to baddies, you are my strength and also, my Achilles heel. I couldn't bear to lose you. No not at all. I just... I am having trouble putting it into words. You are a part of me, I am a part of you, soulmates from when we were kids. I am with you all the way, no matter what." Kaylee stated firmly. "Besides I am a bit of a hound in some aspect I won't give up until the end of the investigation."

Liam knew he didn't have any words so just flooded Kaylee with the emotions so she knew he agreed with every word she had just said and how proud and lucky he was to have her in his life too.

"Okay," he said after a moment. Lighter knowing no matter what he had his touch stone with him. Less frightened.

"Jon and Harper are due soon and," he said kissing her forehead then pulling a t-shirt on and getting out of bed. "Computer open a subspace Channel to Lieutenant Colonel Jack Patton, of the Marines contingent on Poseidon Station."
