"I still want Dr. Kitty" Muriel grumped to Michael.

"He can't have ribbons anymore, Muriel. Don't you want to get to feeling better to where you are the true person you are?"

"I.. guess, I don't wanna be a little girl anymore.."

"Oh good, why don't you go sit with that lady there." pointing towards Amelia. "And I am going to go talk to my doctor friend and the others okay?"

Muriel nodded and headed over to sit down next to Amelia."Hi, you're pretty. Can we be friends?" she said to Amelia.

Amelia looked up at her and smiled and nodded, but kept sat still with her hands on her baby bump.

Michael came over, "So, I am needing to get hold of something that is causing this condition?"

C'Tora shook his head side to side. " No we already have the plant that was needed and the computer is busy replicating two hundred doses, That should be more then enough for everyone on the surface and then some. What I really need is some help administering the antidote, The hyposprays have been preset on the dosage and there is twenty five doses per vial. Just gently press against the neck and press the button, Would you mind giving me a hand with this? " He asked Michael.

"Give it to me." Amelia's ears had picked up on their conversation. "Please..."

Michael turned towards his adopted sister. "Okay, I'll bring it on over." accepting the hypospray from C'Tora, then applying it against Amelia's neck. "I am hoping that it will help you out, Sis."

Amelia shuddered as the hypo was pressed to her neck. She looked at Michale worried. "Nothings happening. Isn't something supposed to... Ahhhh." Suddenly both hands flew to her head as she swayed momentarily. She then steadied herself and blinked. "Wow. I'm me again. Thank you doctor. Thank's Michale." She added with a smile.

She paused as she noticed the bear that she had replicated sitting on the seat next to her. She picked it up and looked at it thoughtfully. "I really replicated this?" she asked no one in particular. She placed the bear in a locker then noticed the looks the others were giving her, as if not convinced she was back to her old self. "It's a nice gift for the baby." She said, justifying what she had done. "Any further report from the Captain." She asked the Doctor, reassuming command as if nothing had happened.

=^=Reynolds to Kuroka. We are just on the landing back at the colony. Report please=^=

Amelia responded first. =^=Captain this is Lieutenant Fox. Whatever this stuff is the Doctor whipped up seems to have worked. I recommend that it is given to anyone exhibiting symptoms immediately. Did you manage to learn anything from the locals?=^=

=^= Kuroka to Reynolds. We have an effective cure Sir and I strongly suggest we give everyone on the ship a dose in case they come down to the planet. We learned from the locals of the plant that is the cause of the problem, and armed with both tainted and untainted blood samples we were able to come up with a cure. =^=

Hawkins walked over to Muriel and gave her the next shot. The engineer, gasping then started feeling a bit better, a lot better. "Right, thank you and..." she blushed, "I am sorry for making you a horsey."

Michael grinned, "Well, now that you are feeling better, how about getting the rest of the civilian boosters and we can also help out the others who are suffering."

Muriel nodded.

=^=Well that's brilliant. Good work Doctor, everyone. But Counselor Keading still needs checking over. The locals gave us plants they use to make a cure and Trues ingested them. We need to be sure she's safe and what she's eaten is compatible with human biology.=^=

"Captain how soon will you be coming to join us." Hawkins asked. "Hopefully soon. "

C'Tora let out a low throaty growl. =^= Aye Sir, If you could please tell me where I may find Counselor Keading, I shall attend to her with due haste. I pray there is no side effects from this unknown alien plant. =^=

=^=We have just landed outside the colony and are coming to you=^= Jon said.

C'Tora noticed that Muriel was once again feeling herself after the hypospray had been administered. He walked behind her and gently laid his hand on her shoulder and spoke softly to her. " Please no more blue ribbons. You'd think I was the only prize at the county fair. " he said with humor in his voice. " Besides, they clash with my green eyes. Another color would suit me better I think. "

Xu had taken a seat and had somehow managed to fall asleep for a moment. She stirred, keeping her yawn as quiet as possible so as not to interrupt the communication between the others present. She felt a touch embarrassed about it but another part of her kept saying 'And what can they do about it!'.

She caught sight of Hawkins and mouthed silently an apology for her dozing off as she stood and dusted down her uniform. Now she needed to be back on form and be the officer she knew she could be even if she was getting exacerbated by the afflicted officers.

Muriel blushed furiously at C'Tora's comment, "Er really sorry about that. I just liked ribbons and well all I had was blue and..." she went silent, as she looked at C'tora and then towards the others.

Hawkins looked at Xu and mouthed, that it was okay. "Am glad you are safe." he responded, and moved to where he could see when Captain Reynolds was arriving.

C'Tora grinned at Muriel . " Well I certainly couldn't growl at a little girl being all cute and wanting to make things pretty could I? What type of parent would I be if I did that? " He asked honestly. " Besides something like that will happen again in the future when M'Tara and I have some daughters of our own. I just look at it as some pre-training for parenthood. That and you looked so cute and happy while you were doing it, I bet you were a joy and a hand full to your parents weren't you? If you were like that as a little girl, your parents were delighted with you and loved you a lot."

Muriel blushed a rather dark red, "Um yes they loved me and I was a handful, I liked to take things apart when I was little. And I did really like ribbons and.. Well look at the time, I think I need to get the rest of the transporter enhancers. Um bye for now Dr.Kit- I mean Doctor C'Tora"

" Muriel, That was just a bit of humor to let you know that I don't have any hard feelings towards you, Ok? I do have a sense of humor as well." He gave a short sigh. " Believe me there will be a few aboard the ship that will refer to me as Dr. Kitty or remind me about the ribbons now and again, but that won't really be a problem. Now get about setting up those transporter enhancers and then get a bit of rest. " He said with a warm smile, And then turned and walked towards the main staging area armed with hyposprays and vials of serum.

Muriel nodded, then gave a quick smile. "Okay, and you take care."

Hawkins decided to go check on Morgan, whom he realized had been a bit quiet, still armed with the hypospray. He reached over and put the device against the helmsman's neck giving him a dose then stepped back to see if the medicine took affect. "Hey Morgan , are you alright?"

Adam Morgan looked around and had to wonder what was going on? It seemed to look like people getting needles and he hated needles. He watched as the big man came his way and he had to close his eyes. He could feel the childish emotions hit him inside then all of a sudden he began to shake a bit and opened his eyes again and watched the scene again around him. Most of the crew were here and he watched as Hawkins was coming towards him.

Morgan stood from where he was sitting and spoke, "Something I can do for you Lieutenant?"

Michael noted that Morgan was a bit nervous,"I came to give you the hypospray to help you out. Don't worry its not going to hurt.No needles." walking over and applying the hypospray to his shoulder.

As Morgan felt the hypo touch his shoulder, he could feel the emotions come back to him and he could feel his confidence return. He looked at Hawkins who seemed to be looking at him and Morgan spoke, "Wow. What was in that stuff? My head is beginning to clear!!"

"Its the antidote to counteract the spores which invaded your body and made you go childlike. That should help you out." giving a kind smile. "Well, I had better go give others the antidote can't let them get stuck in child mode.

Morgan looked at Hawkins with that response and thanked him and Hawkins went on his way. Morgan sat back down and closed his eyes. He could remember everything that happened to him for the past day or so and had to wonder on why this had happened in the first place. He opened his eyes and looked around to see the crew still around him. He suddenly felt this sudden urge and he shook a little hoping no-one would notice. Morgan closed his eyes and felt the injection helped him in one way, but not the other that started to reemerge from within.

Xu for her part had moved through to the cockpit of the runabout finally brushing away the groggy feeling and also feeling very ashamed at what she had done in the market place, as if someone else had been in her body and she had watched at a distance. How was she going to explain that to the Captain?

After several minutes at a brisk trot C'Tora arrived back at the main staging area, and tapped his combadge. =^= Captain Reynolds, this is Dr. Kuroka. I am at the main staging area, Where are you at and may I meet with you briefly if your not to busy? =^=

"I'm right here," Jon said walking in. "And I need you to look over Counselor Keading. Then we can talk."

" What's wrong with the counselor? " C'Tora asked. " Of course I'll look over her Captain, What seems to be the problem? And where is she at now? "

Muriel came back to where the crew of the Andromeda, was and brought over the civilian transporter boosters that Hawkins had requested. She glanced over at the pilot, she didn't know his name but she wanted to see if he was okay, for he was shaking.

"Hi I'm Muriel, are you okay?" to Morgan.

Morgan opened his eyes to the new voice and spoke as he placed a lie into his mouth, "Oh im fine," he stated with a smile and he continued, "Just still getting over the fact that i was in a child like state," Morgan had continued with not looking into the eyes of the new arrival.

True reluctantly sat down on the biobed. Although she had not been as far gone as some of the others she still felt the occasional affect of the childlike state. "I'm fine too, I took their cure after all."

C'Tora removed the tricorder from it's pouch at his waist and began his scan of the Counselor. " I should get some samples of this cure of theirs and test it to make certain there is no side effects on any of the federation personal. " He said simply as he examined her. " Any type of side effects or dizziness that you've noticed? Any strange numbness or tenderness anywhere? If you've noticed anything regardless how small please tell me. "

Natasha walked up, "Oh good looks like everyone's gathering. The ointment she used is here." holding out the small jar. "She just rubbed it under nose."

"I feel perfectly fine except for the occasional need to giggle, but then I've always been inclined to that anyway," True answered honestly. She didn't feel the need to skip everywhere. Surely that was an improvement.

True resisted the urge to roll her eyes but did give him a small smile.

Out loud he said “so you have a confirmed cure doctor? Your confident? If so we need to organise distribution. Get this colony back to normal. Ideas people? He said to all his officers.

C'Tora looked the Captain straight in the eye and nodded. " Yes Sir it is confirmed and tested. I am confident and know it will work Sir. We currently have two hundred doses, How many more in the colony? We can start replicating more if need be. "

Muriel took another look at Morgan. "Are you certain you will be okay?"

"I'm sure I'm ok," Morgan stated bluntly and quickly hoping to end the inquisition to his health. Morgan looked away and hoped not to be bothered again on the same matter even though they were looking out for his best interests.

Muriel just shrugged and turned her attention back to the others.

Michael nodded towards Muriel, "The cure worked for her, and it also seemed to work for Amelia too. Muriel is part of the people stationed here on the planet, an engineer. Probably would do well to go find their doctor and get..." he looked at Muriel.

"Her name is Mary Middleton, she's the doctor, and I know where she is. If she can get the cure then she'd be able to help organize doling out the cure." Muriel responded, looking at the Captain that just came up.

"I think we ought to maybe administer it to everyone just to be safe," Jon said.

Amelia nodded. "We will start distributing the antidote to the colonists."
