ON:

As his XO and the rest of her away teams shuttle left, Jon turned to the rest of his senior team. "Ready room," he said rising and walking off the bridge.

Sitting down he waited for them to follow suit before saying, "So Alliance. Going by that and what I have read of other Captains visits to other universes, I would guess we are in the same one Sisko has visited. Or one not to far off it. Multi universe thats a thing right? I mean Im not a science man but the premise is that hundreds, thousands, millions maybe billions of millions exist?"

C'Tora sat down and shook his head. " Captain Reynolds, Like yourself I don't understand a lot about multi universe's or pocket dimensions or things of that nature. I know it is a possibility that it may exist. " He paused. " Or I should say does exist since we're here. You mentioned that Captain Sisko was in a multi verse something like this, Does it mention how he got back home? Most of my reading is on the newest techniques on how to keep the crew in one piece and healthy. "

"It is quite the mind boggling concept. Just even thinking of what my counterpart could be like. Is he good, is he bad, is he weak or is he strong or for that matter is he a king or even dead. Too many possibilities to even think about. " he paused then asked, "Captain is there a way to find out information as to the status in this new reality? There has to be a way to do so." Michael responded.

" Has anyone scanned the communications channel to see if there is any chatter? " C'Tora asked. " If there is there should be away for one of our talented people to hack in the system and get some kind of information about where we are and whose who around here, it would be a far sight better then sitting here with nothing at all. " He said knowing the unpleasant situation that everyone had found themselves in. " There's got to be someone in security, intelligence or engineering that has the skill to hack into a network system somewhere on this ship."

"Lets try diplomacy first and call that plan b," Jon chuckled. The more C'Tora made suggestions like that the more he liked the alien. "But yes lets locate a person who may have that skillset. However its not just knowing where we are and who is around. The big kicker is how do we get back. Especially when we don't exactly understand what happened. Any ideas on that?"

" What was the last thing the sensors detected before we arrived here? " C'Tora asked. " I got to the bridge after the fact to see if anyone needed medical attention. "

Cassie had been silent, standing in the corner of the room feeling a little out of her depth given the situation. If it came to dealing with the alternative personalities of the gathered people then she would be in her element but discussing the science behind it was simply outside of her skill set by some margin. One thing did occur to her though...

"Captain, I may not be able to help with the science on returning home but, if I have the right of it, this universe is similar to our own. Could we not simply send a team to an Alliance space station, posing as civilian traders perhaps... They could easily access the public database and maybe piggyback into the classified database. It could provide us with all the information we need?"

"Plus from what I had observed, before we were caught by whatever Lieutenant Han had remarked, something of a T'kon device had been activated and sent us into this universe. Maybe we need to find something like that to get ourselves back." Michael mused. Then he turned his attention to Cassie, "And from what Lieutenant Higgins had stated, that doesn't sound too bad of an idea."

"Well dear counselor you have jumped me. That is the plan. Of course one needs to locate the station. We already scanned the area and its not in the same location as where we came from," Jon said.

"I was thinking on that Lieutenant," Jon said turning to Hawkins. "We are not the first Starfleet ship to visit the station. So unless our dear Captain Haistro was holding on some eyes only information from me, which I don't believe he is. Hell I was even told about the dinosaurs ..... thats another story ... maybe down the line ... but lets examine whats happened to us that hasn't impacted other starfleet vessels. We encountered, neigh had the priviledge to birth Methalina."

"She put some ancient knowledge in our computers didn't she? From my reports. Allowing you to access that gateway and come after us. What if ... that data is something to do with things. I mean yes of course I am hypothesising here but we would have been running ship wide diagnostics and linked to the starbase. What if some of that new stored code tripped the T'Kon device somehow?" Jon said sitting back. Perhaps he was more of a science understanding man than he thought.

"Yes she did indeed input information that we needed. And maybe it did activate that device. I think your musings may be on the right track." he looked over towards C'tora. "From what I heard, that birth of the new Goddess it was a bit of a tough time." his voice going a little bit quiet. He was still suffering with some feeling of guilt that he hadn't spent much time with Xu and he had considered her his friend. And the thoughts were there, his regret, his sorrow.

He looked back to Jon, once more, "looks like we've got some digging to do."

C'Tora let out a slow sigh, and spoke softly. " I don't know how much of a privilege it really was captain. The birthing of a goddess isn't something they teach you in medical school, That and I've got a friend in there that is still in a coma. I have tried every possible way to help bring her out of it to no avail, and the sudden growth acceleration and departure from the ship, and along with everything else that went along with that incident.." He paused and took a breath. " I can't say how i honestly feel about it. " He said with the look of sadness in his eyes. " But I do agree with the others, we need information. weather it's from our own computer or from where ever we are right now, we need information to keep ourselves safe and not blunder into an event and make it worse. " He looked directly into Jon's eyes. " Captain I know I can trust you to make the right choice to keep this ship safe, and I know that's exactly what you'll do. "

"I can organise of of the runabouts to be retrofit Captain, I am at a bit of a loose end at the moment. Too much going on and not enough time for the crew to come and see me!" Cassie once again pitched in from the back of the room.

C'Tora turned and looked at Cassie. " Cassie if you ever get bored, your more then welcome to come down and help us out in Sickbay. I happen to know that your quite a capable nurse as well. I know there would be a number of people down there that wouldn't mind seeing you again, myself included. " And smiled at her.

“Well that’s settled then. Cassie you can have extra shifts with the doc if your bored and yes let’s get one of the shuttles looking Ermmm civilians like. And you have the added challenge of finding some appropriate dress.

I have just the team for this once we have coordinates,” he said after a moment.

“Computer have Lieutenant Bumble and Commander Blackthorn report directly to me. Doc you might be a good fit too but I’m thinking more muscle. You stay here. The rest of you dismissed.

C'Tora blinked a few times. " You want me to pose as a bodyguard? " He asked. " My hunting leathers and melee weapons could pass for a Caitian mercenary. I'd need to replicate a Lyran disruptor to fit the part and I'd have to be able to conceal some medical gear to go with me unless this is just going to be a quick in and out type of mission. "

"I'll go get the runabouts retrofitted and see about getting other prep work done.' Michael remarked before he left the briefing room. A project on this scale was going to take a bit of man power but, it can be accomplished.

" Is Cassie coming with us? " C'Tora asked. " As a counselor we could use her to negotiate for the group if need be. I couldn't think of anyone better suited for the task. "
