Speedo's and Bikini's

"I told you this would be a nice surprise!"

Cassie teased as she once again returned to biting the straw to her chilled, yellow, alcohol heavy drink that had just one too many paper umbrella's in it as she watched Ollie walking towards her, he had indeed packed his speedo's and she was savouring the moment, admiring the view!

"Its a very nice surprise. I feel 10 years younger already," Ollie said. "Gotta love that radiation. And the beach. And bikinis," he grinned at her. "How did you talk Jon into this one?" he asked.

"Well, if a Counsellor can't bend the rules and place a Medical order that a crewmember needs some R&R, even if that crewmember is the very same Counsellor issuing the order then what's the point in having the ability to supersede a Captain's orders!"

She teased, laying back on the sun lounger and placing her drink on a small side table. She was taking in the other view now. The lake, framed by mountains that were capped with snow, the beach around the lake filled with Ba'ku locals and a smattering of tourists. She had to admire how the planet was an eden and yet the Federation had still managed to keep the planet somewhat isolated and untouched.

"I'm not sure Jon sees that the same way but he's not here," Ollie chuckled. "So whats first? Theres boats to hire. Fancy a spin round the ocean? Theres a Tiki type bar not to far that way," he wiggled his eyebrows.

"I'm kidding. Captain Reynolds and a number of others suggested I take this time with you... You've heard the old adage of 'Who counsels the councillor'?" she pulled down her sunglasses so she could look at him properly. "Turns out its the Captain. I'm sure you've noticed how lost I've been recently!"

She put her hand out to catch his and squeeze it gently, finally feeling ready for the touch that had until a day or so ago repulsed her.

"I know sweetheart. I hated not being able to make it any better for you," Ollie said honestly.

"With what happened on the bridge... I've felt violated... Raped!" tears started to to pool at the corners of her eyes but they refused to fall. "I've been pushing you away because of it and I'm sorry... I know I'm downloading all of this in one go but I'm afraid if I stop I'll not be able to start again and I love you and I want you to marry me?"

"Wow," Ollie said not expecting that at all. "Look Cassie. I would marry you right now, here on Baku. We can just go find someone and a witness. I would be honoured to do that, But is it really what you want? Are you sure? If you are I mean it, I will go get you a ring."

"I don't mean now, yes, not now though... I'm not sure I'm making much sense!" she stuttered.

She stopped talking for a moment, trying to centre herself after placing her drink down on the small rattan table by the side of her lounger. She took a breath, releasing it slowly as her eyes traced the outline of the snow capped mountains as she found the calm she needed.

"I love you and I'm sorry I've not be able to talk about the reasons why I was pulling away. I love you so much that I do want to marry you someday, sooner rather than later ideally... I just need to voice this, reaffirm to you that this is nothing to do with you... I'm broken at the moment but with you by my side I can heal, I can rebuild myself".

She paused, taking another breath as she turned her gaze back to Ollie. "I want to build a future with you!"

"Then we are on the same page," Ollie said simply. "You will be yourself again my love. And Im here for you all the way on that journey.

Seriously though if you do want sooner and if you change your mind, I cannot imagine a better place to get married. Just us, away from all stress and beautiful scenery to boot," Ollie said simply.

"Surprise me" she said with a smile, shifting her weight so could swing her legs from the lounger and gracefully straddle him on his in one fluid motion. She kissed him, finally feeling as if she was whole again. "Right now I want to enjoy this moment!"

"And I certainly can't argue with that," Oliver said surrendering himself to her.
